Performance Theatre Camp
Camp Shine High School: “Young Frankenstein”
Time: 9:00 am

Camp Ages: Completed 9th-12th Grade
Camp Shine HS is a two week experience where high school actors dive deeper into the world of musical theatre. Campers will spend their morning in intense classes of singing, dancing and acting. They will then come together to rehearse this year’s musical where every teen will have their time to shine! The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer, students will perform the electrifyingly hysterical romp “Young Frankenstein: The Musical,” with performances on Friday, June 5th and Saturday, June 6th. Students who have completed 9th-12th Grade may attend; students who have completed 8th grade are allowed to attend this camp only if they have also already registered for Camp Shine MS. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Cost: $599

Camp Shine Jr: “Aristocats Kids”
Time: 8:00 am

Camp Ages: Completed PreK-1st Grade
Camp Shine Jr. is a ONE week camp for students who have completed PreK-1st Grade. This week is designed for our youngest actors to begin their journey into the world of musical theatre. Campers will sing songs, dance and learn how to act out stories as they travel through this thrilling adventure. They will also perform on the final evening of camp for their family and friends, where every child will have their time to shine. Campers will spend their morning in classes of singing, dancing and acting while rehearsing this year’s musical. The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer students will perform the Disney classic “The Aristocats Kids” with a performance on the evening of Friday, June 12. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Camp Shine Drama: “Totally Red”

Camp Ages: Completed 2nd-8th Grade
Camp Shine Drama is a ONE week camp for students who have completed grades 2 through 8. These actors will explore the production and presentation of a straight play, from memorization to characterization, stage direction to blocking, practice to performance! This year’s production is “Totally Red,” a collection of retellings of the classic tale of “Little Red Riding Hood,” told in a variety of unique ways: melodrama, Elizabethan, ’80s hip-hop slang, and avant-garde. Students will perform the play with lights, sound, costumes, the whole shebang, for audiences on Saturday, June 13. Camp includes: daily snack and T2S Summer Camp t-shirt. Cost: $399

Camp Shine June: “James and the Giant Peach Jr.”

Camp Ages: Completed 2nd-6th Grade
Camp Shine June is for children who love to take center stage and let their star shine! This two-week experience allows actors to explore the wonderful world of musical theatre under the guidance of professional instructors, diving into the fundamentals of theatre, voice, movement, dance and stage presence. Campers will spend their morning in three classes of singing, dancing, and character development/acting. They will then come together to rehearse this year’s musical, where every child will have their time to shine. The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer students will perform the quirky Roald Dahl story “James and the Giant Peach Jr.” with performances on Friday, June 26th and Saturday, June 27th. Students who have completed 2nd-6th Grade may attend; students who have completed 1st grade are allowed to attend this camp only if they have already registered for Camp Shine Jr. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Camp Shine MS is a two week experience where middle school actors dive deeper into the world of musical theatre. Campers will spend their morning in intense classes of singing, dancing and acting. They will then come together to rehearse this year’s musical, where every student will have their time to shine. The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer students will perform inspirational story of “Footloose Youth Edition” with performances on Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st. Students who have completed 7th-8th Grade may attend; students who have completed 6th grade are allowed to attend this camp only if they have already registered for either Camp Shine June or Camp Shine July. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Cost: $499
