For students Ages 2 through High School
Time to Shine is proud to provide its 11th summer of incredible musical theatre programming offering students of all ages to train and perform in all areas of dance, acting and voice.
Throughout our summer programming students will have the opportunity to use the skills learned in their season of classes and become a true musical theatre performer.
Camps vary depending on the age group. All camps are based on the age/grade that the camper completed in the 2023-2024 school year.

Performance Theatre Camp
Camp Shine Jr: “101 Dalmatians Kids”
Time: 8:00 am
- 12:00 pm
Camp Ages: Completed PreK-1st Grade
Camp Shine Jr. is a ONE week camp for students who have completed PreK-1st Grade. This week is designed for our youngest actors to begin their journey into the world of musical theatre. Campers will learn songs, dances and learn how to act out stories as they travel through this fur-raising adventure. They will also come together to learn a short musical theatre showcase to perform on the final evening of camp for their family and friends, where every child will have their time to shine. Campers will spend their morning in classes of singing, dancing and acting while rehearsing this year’s musical. The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer students will perform the classic tale of “101 Dalmatians Kids” with a performance on Friday, June 14. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Cost: $299

Audition Camp
“Casting Success” Audition Camp
Time: 1:00 pm

Camp Ages: Completed 7th-8th Grade
Do you want to get the part? Do you want to go into your next audition and walk out knowing that you will have casting success? Then this is the camp every actor needs to take. Throughout the week campers will perfect their SLATE, prepare a 16-32 bar singing piece, pick out and perfect a 60 second monologue, work on their resume and have a professional headshot taken. On Friday, students will participate in a mock audition and receive instant feedback on what they need to get the part in their next show! Camp includes: daily snack, summer camp t-shirt and headshot proof. Cost $225

Dance Camp
“Jazz Funk/Hip Hop” Dance Camp #2
Time: 1:00 pm

Camp Ages: Completed 4th-6th Grade
Do you like to move? Do you want to be more hip and have more swag in your movements? Then this Jazz Funk/Hip Hop Dance camp was made for you. With funky beats, students will get to express themselves through their dance moves. Campers will explore all styles of Jazz Funk and Hip Hop through warm ups, cross the floors, dance challenge circles and dynamic choreography tailored to this group’s age. Now is the time to get down and dance! Students will perform a short show on Friday at 3:30pm. Camp includes: daily snack and summer camp t-shirt. Cost $225

“Jazz Funk/Hip Hop” Dance Camp #1
Time: 9:00 am

Camp Ages: Completed 7th-8th Grade
DJ: Give me a beat! If you like to freestyle, get down and dance then this is the camp designed for you. Campers will explore all types of jazz funk and hip hop styles through warm ups, cross the floors, dance challenge circles and dynamic choreography tailored to this group’s age. Students will leave feeling confident in their groove and swag. Students will perform a short performance on Friday at 11:30am. Camp includes: daily snack and summer camp t-shirt. Cost: $225

Get ready for an electrifying adventure in our jazz funk/hip hop camp! Designed specifically for 1st-3rd Graders, this high-energy session at Time to Shine is the ultimate summer camp experience. With funky beats pulsating through the studio, kids will groove, spin, and bounce their way through dynamic choreography tailored to their age group. From interactive games to personalized routines, every moment is packed with excitement and fun. Get ready to unleash your inner dancer and make unforgettable memories with friends in this exhilarating class! Students will perform a short performance on Friday at 3:30pm. Camp includes: daily snack and summer camp t-shirt. Cost: $225

Musical Theatre Camp
“The Whole Being Dead Thing” Musical Theatre Camp

Camp Ages: Completed 7th-12th Grade
A camp, so nice, you’ll say it thrice. Come learn how to create a sandworm, listen to that beautiful sound, and find your new “home” in this one of a kind camp! At week’s end, campers will put forth their own showcase of this creepy classic on Friday at 3:30pm. BYOC (bring your own courage). No handbook for the recently deceased needed. Camp includes: daily snack and summer camp t-shirt. Cost $225

Tech Camp
Camp Shine June: Tech Camp

Camp Ages: Completed 8th-12th Grade
Camp Shine June: Tech Camp is a two week experience where campers dive deeper into the world of creating the tech for a musical. Campers will spend half of their day learning details on how to create set and lighting design, costume, hair & make up design, prop creation, and stage management. Then the other half of the camp day campers will have hands on experience creating the set & projections, props, costuming, hair and make up for the Camp Shine June. This summer our students will have the opportunity to build “Annie Jr.” the musical. These techies will also help run backstage during the performances on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th. Students who have completed 8th-12th Grade may attend. Tech Camps will be limited to only 8 students. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Cost: $399

Camp Shine June is for children who love to take center stage and let their star shine! This two-week experience allows actors to explore the wonderful world of musical theatre under the guidance of professional instructors, delving into the fundamentals of theatre, voice, movement, dance and stage presence. Campers will spend their morning in three classes of singing, dancing, and character development/acting. They will then come together to rehearse this year’s musical, where every child will have their time to shine. The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer students will perform the classic Broadway hit musical “Annie Jr.” with performances on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th. Students who have completed 2nd-6th Grade may attend; students who have completed 1st grade are allowed to attend this camp only if they have already registered for Camp Shine Jr. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Cost: $499
