For students ages 2 through High School Seniors
Time to Shine is proud to provide its 12th summer of incredible musical theatre programming, offering students of all ages the chance to train and perform in all areas of dance, acting and voice.
Through our summer programming, students will have the opportunity to use the skills learned in their season of classes and become a true musical theatre performer.
Camps vary depending on the age group. All camps are based on the age/grade that the camper completed in the 2024-2025 school year.

Acting Camp
“Acting Out Loud” Acting Camp

Camp Ages: Completed 2nd-6th Grade
Discover what it means to live OUT LOUD at our “Acting Out Loud” Acting Camp! Students will learn different acting techniques through hands-on exercises and activities, and explore how to bring life to new characters and situations. Young actors will discover a new passion for acting as they figure out how to act OUT LOUD with confidence and thoughtfulness! This four half-day camp will conclude with a short acting performance on Friday at 11:30am. Camp includes: daily snack and T2S Summer Camp t-shirt. Cost: $175

“Sing!” Musical Theatre Camp

Camp Ages: Completed PreK-2nd Grade
“Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing” – this musical theatre camp based on the phenomenal soundtracks from the Illumination movies “Sing” and “Sing 2” will have you shouting “Hallelujah!” “Let’s Go Crazy” and “Break Free” while exploring singing, dancing and acting along with some fun craft activities throughout this four half-day camp. Friends & Family, “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing” – this camp will conclude with a short musical theatre performance on Friday at 3:30pm. Camp includes: daily snack and T2S Summer Camp t-shirt. “5-6-7-8 Dance Intensive” Dance Camp

Camp Ages: Completed 3rd-8th Grade
Come join us for a 4-day dance intensive where dancers can take their skills to the next level! Get ready to improve your technique and learn many new dance steps. During this camp, campers will work on your turns, leaps, and overall technique. You’ll learn about what makes up technique in dance and tips on how you can reach your goals within your skills. This camp is for students who have completed 3rd-8th grade. Camp includes: daily snack and T2S Summer Camp t-shirt. Cost: $175

Camp Shine HS: Tech Camp

Camp Ages: Completed 7th-12th Grade
Camp Shine HS: Tech Camp is a two week experience where campers dive deeper into the world of creating the tech for a musical. Campers will spend half of their day learning details on how to create set and lighting design, costume, hair & make up design, prop creation, and stage management. Then the other half of the camp day campers will have hands-on experience using those new skills to support the Camp Shine HS Musical. This summer our students will have the opportunity to build “Crazy For You” the musical. These techies will also help run backstage during the performances on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th. Students who have completed 7th-12th Grade may attend. Tech Camps will be limited to only 8 students. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Cost: $399

Camp Shine HS is a two week experience where high school actors dive deeper into the world of musical theatre. Campers will spend their morning in intense classes of singing, dancing and acting. They will then come together to rehearse this year’s musical where every child will have their time to shine. The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer students will perform the classic Gershwin musical “Crazy For You,” with performances on Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7. Students who have completed 9th-12th Grade may attend; students who have completed 8th grade are allowed to attend this camp only if they have also already registered for Camp Shine MS. “Don’t Let the Pigeon Go To” Musical Theatre Camp

He’s driven a bus. He’s ridden a roller coaster. He’s found a hot dog and even stayed up LATE… But do you know what that silly Pigeon hasn’t tried yet? Musical Theatre Camp! Come join us for a fun-filled camp full of singing, dancing and good times with your favorite Mo Willems character! This camp is designed for our youngest campers to explore the world of musical theatre through song, dance, acting and crafts. This four half-day camp experience will conclude with a short musical theatre performance on Friday at 11:30pm. Camp includes: daily snack and T2S Summer Camp t-shirt. “Bars & Beats” Hip Hop Dance Camp

Camp Ages: Completed 3rd-8th Grade
DJ: Gimme a beat! If you like to freestyle, get down and dance, then this is the camp for you. Students will explore hip hop moves and dance trends through warm ups, across the floors, dance challenge circles and dynamic choreography. Students will leave feeling confident in their groove and swag! This five half-day camp culminates in a short performance on Friday at 11:30am. Camp includes: daily snack and T2S Summer Camp t-shirt. “Ohana” means “family” – and families stick together, especially while they’re moving and grooving! What is this feeling, so sudden and new? Could it be…everyone’s current favorite musical obsession?!? YES! “Wicked” comes to Time to Shine in a tornadic flurry of pink and green. (They go good together – don’t you think?) Join us for a week of exploring the songs and dances of the musical sensation. You’ll be walking on air, defying gravity (see what we did there?) every day of this awesome camp. The week will culminate in a short performance Friday at 3:30pm. Camp Shine Jr.: “Madagascar Kids”

Camp Ages: Completed PreK-1st Grade
Camp Shine Jr. is a ONE week camp for students who have completed PreK-1st Grade. This week is designed for our youngest actors to begin their journey into the world of musical theatre. Campers will learn songs, dances and learn how to act out stories as they travel through this thrilling adventure. They will also come together to learn a short musical theatre production to perform on the final evening of camp for their family and friends, where every child will have their time to shine. Campers will spend their morning in classes of singing, dancing and acting while rehearsing this year’s musical. The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer students will perform the hilarious favorite “Madagascar Kids” with a performance on Friday, June 13. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Cost: $299

“I Got Rhythm” Instrumental Music Camp

If you’ve “got rhythm” – or would like to have it – then come on down and let’s make music together! Students will learn simple rhythms and explore various instruments like keyboard, ukelele and percussion. The camp will culminate in a short performance on Friday at 11:30am. Camp Shine Drama: “Night Night, Roger Roger”

Camp Shine Drama is a ONE week camp for students who have completed grades 2 through 8. These actors will explore the production and presentation of a straight play, from memorization to characterization, stage direction to blocking, practice to performance! The play is “Night Night, Roger Roger,” by Roni Ragone – a fanciful comedic play about the world after the sun goes down: rollerskating Nanas, kids with tin cans, literary-obsessed vampires, clumsy security guards…you name it, this play’s got it! Students will perform the play with lights, sound, costumes, the whole shebang, for audiences on Saturday, June 14. Camp includes: daily snack and T2S Summer Camp t-shirt. Cost: $399

Camp Shine June: “The Wizard of Oz YE”

Camp Shine June is for children who love to take center stage and let their star shine! This two-week experience allows actors to explore the wonderful world of musical theatre under the guidance of professional instructors, delving into the fundamentals of theatre, voice, movement, dance and stage presence. Campers will spend their morning in three classes of singing, dancing, and character development/acting. They will then come together to rehearse this year’s musical, where every child will have their time to shine. The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer students will perform the classic Broadway hit musical “The Wizard of Oz YE” with performances on Friday, June 28th and Saturday, June 29th. Students who have completed 2nd-6th Grade may attend; students who have completed 1st grade are allowed to attend this camp only if they have already registered for Camp Shine Jr. Camp includes: daily snack, musical t-shirt, and production materials. Calling all vocalists! Are you ready to flex those chops in front of an audience of your peers? In this 5 day camp, we will explore different vocal techniques and the history of musical theatre singing, with the express purpose of perfecting a solo vocal piece for you to use to impress friends, family and audition committees alike. We will analyze different styles and find the ideal piece for YOU to bring the house down. Join us for an exciting week of fundamental voice training and incredible vocal performance. Can I get a CHEE-HOO?!? Get ready for a 5-day musical journey with Moana, Maui, Pua and all of your favorite characters from “Moana” and “Moana 2!” Explore their island home and the ocean surrounding it through song and dance and other fun activities. All this fun will have you proclaiming: “I am Moana of Motunui. You will board my boat, sail across the sea, and restore the heart of Te Fiti” – and we can’t wait! Board this boat! Here at T2S, we believe that strangers are people we just haven’t met yet – and you will too, when you join us for this swankified musical theatre camp! Rejoicify with us as we show you what shoes to wear, how to fix your hair, everything that really counts, as you sing, dance and act your way through a week of fun activities based on the ultra-popular movie musical “Wicked.” When the week is over, you’ll summon your braverism, toss-toss…toss your hair, and show off with a short performance on Friday at 11:30am. The party starts when the curtain rises! Calling all kids who have a passion to write their own script & star in their very own show! In this 5 day drama camp, actors will begin by playing acting games to create characters, use improvisation to develop scenes, and then take these characters and scenes and turn them into a script. The actors will then prepare and edit this script and have it ready to perform for a short presentation on Friday at 3:30pm. The camp concludes with a full scale production of lights, sound, costume, hair & make up, set and a live audience. This summer students will perform the wildly popular musical story of The Ghost With the Most – “Beetlejuice Jr.” with performances on Friday, August 1st and Saturday, August 2nd. Students who have completed 7th-8th Grade may attend; students who have completed 6th grade are allowed to attend this camp only if they have already registered for either Camp Shine June or Camp Shine July. “Role Ready” Audition Camp

Camp Ages: Completed 2nd-8th Grade
This camp will prepare you for any audition you might have coming up this year and beyond! Each student will learn this camp with a 16-32 bar cut of an audition song, 30-60 second monologue, headshot, and resume tailor fitted to them and their character in order to better help them lead to success in the musical theatre world. The tools you learn in this camp are irreplaceable and will help lead to success in this field. Camp concludes with a mock audition on Friday. Camp includes: daily snack and T2S Summer Camp t-shirt.
