Hello I'm Miss. Kara! I teach ballet, tap and jazz and also assist with contemporary, hip hop, and musical theatre classes. I have been dancing since I was 2 years old (20 years!). I grew up dancing in a competitive studio just right down the street from ages 2 to 13, cheered for 2 years in middle school, and did drill team during my 4 years at Fossil Ridge High School. I spent my freshman year of college at the University of Central Arkansas where I was a part of the Honey Bear Dance Team. I recently received my Associates of Arts in Teaching from TCC, and am now en route to finish my B.S. of General Studies through Texas Woman's University next August. When I'm not in the studio teaching, I am a member of the Mosaic Dance Project at TCC. This is my second year at Time to Shine and I am very grateful for the opportunities and the extended family that this studio has given me.
